If I learn fo any specific shipbuilding presentations planned for the conference I'll post that information here. Note that the conference is actually going to happen before the official launch of the "NEXT version of NX" so I don't know how much information about some of the new areas will be presented or not, however let me ask and if it turns out that there will be some worthwhile sessions for this area, perhaps it might pay to consider attending the meeting. Now it is possible that there may be some sessions covering this in more detail at the upcoming PLM Connection in May in Las Vegas. Is there a time frame as to when NX 8.0 will be available Also, last year it was mentioned in a few threads that the next version of NX (NX 8.0)will have greatly upgraded/improved capabilities for shipbuilding/naval architecture/marine engineering.
